wow i thought, it is to download as pdf file, greate, that means i can take it on my laptop and can read it there
well my excitement was very soon over. after the purchase was finished and i downloaded the displayed file, i was surprised that i did not have an pdf file it was an complete other format.
so i needed to research how to open the file and came to the solution that the ebook is not right away in pdf format, it needs to be converted with a tool from adobe.
this tool is of course only available for windows or mac systems but not for linux.
that was a very big disappointment. even after a long search for a tool for linux, it is not possible to open that ebook. only with this tool from adobe.
good that we still have one windows pc at home, so there i could open it.
i have a pdf printer installed on the windows mashine and was trying to print the ebook.
of course it was not working.......
so means i think i have to spend money to print the ebook out on paper (if it is possible)
funny thing to it, it is a book how to program in c and c++, the thing linux was programmed with :)
maybe i can program a application for linux after hehehe
