we have planed that long time ago. we wanted to go early as possible to avoid the big traffic there in the mal and to our fairness we were on a good way in the morning.
Colin woke up around 4:30am, so russel and i were thinking to stay awake and start the day early.
well in my case when you are directly approaching 40, it happens that the body fights against your mind and a lot of times the body wins.
with other words we stood up at 10am :)
well at that time it does not really matter when you go to the mal, it is crowded anyway, so we took our time :)
the first shop that we entered was h&m, the baby department :) as normal we found very cute things for colin, i think it took us around 30 minutes to spent 99 swiss francs :). that happens when those things are pending for month, but we wnet out very happy.
the next thing that we did was eating lunch. ok at 3:00pm it is a late lunch but still lunch :)
it is nice to see that colin starts to follow our routines, during our lunch he decided that he also wants to have his meal now :)
of course we have been prepared with all the necessary equipment (hot water, container for the hot water and the prepared bottle) i start to feed him, so that russel can finish her lunch.
but feeding this little curios child is under this circumstances a quiet hard thing, because there is all of a sudden only to see papa with this bottle and the ceiling to look on while feeding, but sooooooo many people around and children playing.
colin drank with interruptions, drinking - complaining - drinking.....!
but we have been able to finish nearly the whole bottle.
after that we were not able to put him back in the stroller, so we decided to start the mission "kangaroo papa reloaded", we put him into the baby carrier and we had a haaaapy baby :)
colin was observing everything during our trips through migros, the search for the asia shop (is closed at the moment which made my sweety sad) but the most fun colin and also we had in toys r us.
we went there only for having a look, but thees shops are mde for buying :) ad that we did.
we found a teddy baer from chicco with light and sound features. we tried it out in the shop and colin was reacting on it......so it was his :)
then we looked at high chairs for him, we found some good models but we wanted to let colin decide.
but he had the same problem as we, he just could not pick one, he was struggling between one chair from chicco and one from fischer price. well we will come back another time when colin has made his mind up :D
when we are at toys r us, of course we have to have a look in the lego section, papa needs to check what is available today
yes you have to be up to date with this things, and what i learnd from a former visit there, buy things that you like when they are in the store, because they might not be there anymore when you like to buy them.
ups i think i wrote the last paragraph wrong!
i learned from a former visit that you should buy the things that you think your son likes, when they are in the stores, because they might not be available anymore, and that colin would be very sad..............and papa too.
i really regret that i did not buy the lego set with the ferrari f1 team with trucks and two race cars, this made me very sad..........because i know that colin would have liked it.....like papa :)
the conversation between my sweety and me are also quiet nice, sample
sweety: look honey, you only need to wait four years until colin can play with it
me: i can test it in the meantime if it is really good.
sweety: wow honey, here is a thing were you only need to wait one year
me: that is baby stuff
sweety: he is still a baby
me: see thats why we have to buy the good stuff now .......
hehehehehe :)
after our toys r us session we just went by lush, to buy some nice bathing balls for mama and papa, and guess what we found, also a bathing ball for colin :)
shopping tour finished and off to our home, were we had a veeeeery sleepy little boy who still doesn't want to sleep, but a very happy boy too :)
